Star Singers Terms & Conditions

1. Star Singers Membership

a. Fees:

£75.00 per term. This includes ten 1½ hour sessions and the ‘end of term’ concert.
Fees must be normally paid before the first session of each term. Subject to availability, any person may apply to join Star Singers after a term had commenced. Fees will be at the discretion of Star Singers.
Fees may vary; members of Star Singers will be notified in advance.
Members may cancel their membership at any time. A processing fee of £30 will be deducted from any refunds which will be at the discretion of Star Singers.

b. Conditions:

Membership will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
Should Star Singers decide that the take up of membership is insufficient, fees will be refunded in full.
Fees are not refundable for sessions that members are unable to attend.
Each member agrees that video footage and photographs featuring the Star Singers choir will be used in sessions and concerts for marketing purposes.
Members of Star Singers are not allowed to use creative ideas and resources used at sessions and concerts at any other event.
Star Singers reserves the right to refuse admission to any member who does not fulfil the requirements.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances arising, Star Singers may have to suspend, cancel or postpone a session or sessions until alternative arrangements can be made. Any refunds will be at the discretion of Star Singers.

2. Conduct

a. Members of Star Singers should seek to attend sessions punctually and respond positively to the Star Singers directors and fellow members.

b. Star Singers reserves the right to cancel any membership without refund, if it is decided that any Member is in breach of the above (2a).

3. Privacy/Data Protection

a. Confidential & personal data held by Star Singers will not be passed to any outside organisation or agency.

4. Health and Safety

a. Travel to sessions and concerts are the personal responsibility of individual members.
Each member is responsible for their personal property when attending sessions and concerts.
Star Singers is not liable for the well-being of members or any damage to members personal property.
Star Singers is not responsible for damage to persons or members personal belongings. In no circumstances will any liability on the part of Star Singers exceed the amount equivalent to one term’s membership fee, in any particular term that any claim may arise.
